Gábor Papp, software artist
(*1974, Veszprém) is a computer scientist and software artist.
He has earned two undergraduate degrees: an M.Sc. in Computer Science from the Technical University of Budapest, Hungary and a Master's in Art & Technology from Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden.
His main interest is software art, by which he is exploring the cultural, social, political and aesthetic implications of software. He is a founder and organiser of Dorkbot-Budapest, a regular Budapest-based lecture series on electronic art.
